There have been approximately 5,760 cases of Capri Sun Wild Cherry beverages recalled as a result of possible contamination.

Kraft Heinz issued a statement on Tuesday noting that a cleaning solution used for treating food processing equipment had been “inadvertently introduced” into a production line at one of its factories.

The company discovered the problem after receiving a number of complaints from consumers about the taste of its products.

It is not known how many pouches have been recalled in total by the company. Despite this, each case consists of four cartons that each contain 10 pouches, resulting in about 230,000 individual pouches that may be affected in total.

If you want to know if your Capri Sun pouch has been recalled, look for the “Best When Used By” date of June 25, 2023, on the bottom of the 6.6-ounce pouch.

Meanwhile, Kraft (KHC) said that it is “actively working” with retailers in order to remove the “potentially impacted product from circulation” as soon as possible.

‘At Capri-Sun, we have always been committed to maintaining a high standard of quality, because the safety of our consumers is of the utmost importance,’ a spokesperson said, adding that the pouches in question were only sold in the United States.

It is possible for customers who have the product to return it to the store if they wish to do so. People should not drink them, according to Kraft.

About 13,000 pounds of frozen pizza made by Home Run Inn Frozen Foods were recalled earlier this week due to the possibility of metal contamination.

Food Safety and Inspection Service of the US Department of Agriculture warned on Sunday that the pizza’s meat topping could be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically metal, according to a statement.
