Chrissy Teigen Confirms She’s Pregnant, Two Years After She Lost Her Previous Pregnancy
‘Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are expecting a child once again, the 36-year-old model and entrepreneur announced on Instagram on Wednesday.
Teigen showed off her baby bump in the post and also discussed the possibility of undergoing in vitro fertilization.

The last few years have been a blur of emotions to say the least, but joy has once again filled our home and hearts,” Teigen wrote. “One billion shots later (in the leg lately, as you can see!) we have another on the way.”
Teigen likely experienced a pregnancy loss in September 2020, hence that blur of emotions.
In an email Teigen wrote at the time, she said: “We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we have never felt before.”.
Teigen added: “Despite bags and bags of blood transfusions, we were never able to stop the bleeding and give my baby the fluids he needed.”. The doctors had done all they could.”
It was Wednesday’s post that highlighted Teigen’s fears about her current pregnancy after having gone through a traumatic experience during a previous pregnancy.
There have been several appointments where I have said to myself ‘ok, if it is healthy today, then I will announce’ however, every time I hear a heartbeat, I breathe a sigh of relief, and I decide I am still too nervous about the whole thing.
As she mentioned in her most recent post, she continued to write. In my opinion, I do not think I will ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves, but I must say that so far, everything has been perfect and beautiful, and I am feeling hopeful and amazing. My apologies, it has been very difficult for me to keep this in for such a long time.
As well as Teigen, Legend celebrated the news on his Instagram account by sharing a picture of the same photo Teigen posted, and captioning it with a series of red hearts.
The new bundle of joy will be Teigen and Legend’s third child, joining their daughter Luna Simone, 6, and son Miles Theodore, 4 years old, in their family.
