In New York City on Tuesday, the pair were spotted holding hands outside celebrity hotspot Lavo, which is a popular hangout for celebrities.

With a smile on her face, the “Skin of My Teeth” singer, who was wearing a leather jacket and plaid skirt, was walking with her fingers entwined as they walked together.

This week, Lovato has been in NYC doing a three-day takeover on The Tonight Show to promote the release of her latest album, Holy Fvck, which is due out on Friday.

The Canadian artist Jute$ – whose real name is Jordan Lutes – collaborated with her on the “Substance” track, which talks about her battle with addiction.

The tattooed Jute$ called “Substance” “one of the fav songs I’ve ever worked on” in a statement, he made last month.

He soon shared a photo of them on vacation with their friends shortly after that. A few days later, Lovato, who turns 30 on Saturday, hopped into the comments section reminiscing about the trip.

According to Yahoo Entertainment’s inquiry about Lovato’s apparent engagement, a representative for the artist did not immediately respond to the company’s request for confirmation.

Last week, however, a source close to the “Sorry Not Sorry” singer told People magazine that Lovato was in a “happy and healthy relationship” with a fellow musician.

There was no mention of his name at the time, but he was described as having a great personality.

She addressed her gender pronouns earlier this month, saying on The Spout Podcast, “I’ve actually adopted the pronouns of she/her again.” Following her coming out as nonbinary in May 2021, Lovato previously used they/then.

In spite of the fact that Lovato sings about her struggles with addiction on her new album, she stated late last month that she “rarely” thinks about using drugs four years after she experienced a near-fatal overdose.

Having been “California sober” last year for a period of time, she returned to treatment in December in order to get “sober sober” once again.

Before the release of her new album Holy Fvck, Lovato revealed that she has never felt more confident about herself and her music.

She added that the album “speaks for itself.” Another song from the album, “29,” appears to call out her ex Wilmer Valderrama over their age gap.

When she was 17 and he was 29, they met and began dating the following year when she was 17 and he was 29. It was a six-year relationship that ended in 2016, after a period of six years together.

She was also briefly engaged to Young and the Restless star Max Ehrich in 2020 – and, way back when she was a teenager, she dated Joe Jonas and Trace Cyrus as well.
