There have been more tabloid mishaps for The Flash star Ezra Miller in the past couple of weeks, as the Vermont State Police have charged the actor with a burglary in connection with an incident that happened in May.

The police report reads:

A burglary complaint was reported to the Vermont State Police on 05/01/2022 at approximately 1755 hours at a residence on County Road in the town of Stamford, Vermont.

While the homeowners were not present, several bottles of alcohol were taken from within the residence.

Ezra M. Miller was charged with felony burglary into an unoccupied dwelling following an investigation that included surveillance videos and statements.

Police located the Fantastic Beasts star at 11:23 p.m. on the evening of August 7 and issued a citation for him to appear in Vermont Superior Court Bennington Criminal Division on Sept. 26 for arraignment on the burglary charge.

This investigation was conducted by the Vermont State Police in collaboration with the Bennington County State’s Attorney’s Office.

In spite of previous Miller scandals, David Zaslav’s Warner Bros. has so far been able to weather the storm. It has been confirmed so far that The Flash will be released in theaters on June 23, 2023, according to Discovery.

This latest turn of events in the Green Mountain state could, however, cause them to take a whole new turn if they do not act quickly.

Warner Bros. has been contacted by Deadline for a response to today’s charges, and we will update you as soon as we hear from them.

The studio has been attempting to intervene with Miller over the past few months as incident after incident has occurred with Miller, sources have told us. Whether or not those efforts will bear fruit remains to be seen.

Yet, it would seem that if transgender nonbinary identifying Miller has anything resembling a typical Hollywood studio contract, there is a morals clause somewhere in the contract – which may or may not come into play at some point in the future.

In a separate incident, a 12-year-old boy and a mother in Greenfield, MA accused Miller of harassing them over the summer, resulting in the school receiving a temporary harassment prevention order over the summer.

The parents of Tokata Iron Eyes, who is 18 years old, have also filed a protection order against Miller, accusing them of grooming and brainwashing their child.

Aside from that, Miller also had two arrests in Hawaii, including one involving a fight at a karaoke bar in which he was involved.

In our opinion, Warner Bros brass is very excited about the upcoming release of The Flash. The Andy Muschietti-directed movie, which stars both Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton’s Batmans, is also rated highly by those who have seen test screenings.

Miller’s stumble, as well as the choices it might force WB to make in response to it, follows a rocky week for Zaslav’s Warner Bros Discovery.

The studio pulled the plug on the Latina-led Batgirl project, which was in the post-production stage, as well as Scoob! It had been four years since Holiday Haunt had been in production.

It was followed by a weak quarterly report and a harsh stock drop that put the company in a more precarious position.

There is a possibility that Warner Bros. may find itself getting thrown off track with its plans to turn the unsteady DC universe into a Marvel behemoth.
