Sylvester Stallone is said to have been blindsided by the divorce filing of his wife Jennifer Flavin, which was filed on Aug. 19, as friends told Page Six that they appeared “so happy” together a few weeks ago.
It was revealed recently that the “Rambo” star has been filming his upcoming Paramount Plus series titled “Tulsa King” in Oklahoma City, and friends said the actress – his wife of 25 years – has been constantly present on the set.
On Aug. 18, Sly was in Oklahoma when the papers were filed, and sources said he was shocked when he heard of the news.

It is Flavin, 54, who filed a divorce petition in Palm Beach, Fla., where she and her husband own a home, who claims that her husband intentionally has dissipated, depleted, or wasted the assets of her marriage — and she demands that Stallone be prevented from selling or transferring any assets during the divorce process.

At the moment, I don’t know what will happen because she has decided to go public with everything, so I don’t know what will happen.”
It was reported by TMZ, however, that the couple split up after a big fight over a dog.
The 76-year-old Stallone is rumored to have wanted a new Rottweiler to provide “protection for their family,” however Flavin reportedly didn’t want another pet to add to their household.
There are reports that this led to “a very heated argument that brought up other issues” in their marriage, although it has been reported that these other issues were not seen as things that they would never be able to resolve.
However, Stallone ended up getting the pooch anyway, and he named him Dwight after the character he played in the hit film “Tulsa King”.
His Instagram account was used to promote the show earlier this month with a photo of him and Dwight the dog.
In the meantime, it was revealed on Tuesday that tattoo artist Zach Perez had posted a now-deleted Instagram photo showing Stallone getting an arm tattoo of Flavin covered with a tattoo of Butkus – the bullmastiff from the “Rocky” movies.
Apparently, Stallone and Flavin’s daughters – Sophia, 26, Sistine, 24, and Scarlet, 20 – have been filming a reality show together, which their father helped them get and is scheduled to premiere on Paramount+ in November.
In spite of this, a Hollywood source told Page Six: “Sly got them a reality show, but I don’t know what will happen to it now that it’s in the works.”
In addition to this, other industry insiders said that Flavin is not a big fan of Sly’s longtime publicist, Michelle Bega.
Flavin has asked for sole ownership of the $35 million Palm Beach mansion the couple bought in 2020, and has put down $5 million as a down payment towards the purchase.
