‘magnum, P.i.’ Star Roger E. Mosley, 83, Has Passed Away After A Car Accident
Roger E. Mosley, the actor best known for his role as helicopter pilot Theodore “TC” Calvin on the 1980s hit series “Magnum, P.I.,” died on Sunday, according to his daughter. He was 83 years old when he passed away.

It was reported Saturday that actor Mosley passed away surrounded by family members after he was injured in a car crash last week that left him paralyzed from the shoulders down and in critical condition, his daughter Ch-a Mosley wrote on Facebook.

He would HATE any tears shed in his name and now it is time to celebrate the legacy he left for us all,” his daughter said as she announced his passing, saying, “I love you, daddy.
You loved me too. My heart is heavy but I am strong. I will take care of mommy, your love of almost 60 years.
You raised me well and she is in good hands. Rest easy.”
He starred alongside Tom Selleck in more than 150 episodes of the crime-adventure series “Magnum, P.I.”, which aired from 1980 to 1988, which was a crime-adventure series that had a total of eight seasons.
According to his IMDb page, Mosley also made an appearance in a more recent reboot of the hit show, playing another character named John Booky.
Furthermore, the Los Angeles native played the part of Coach Ricketts in the 1990s sitcom “Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper” in addition to his work on “Magnum, P.I.”
