Olivia Newton-john Is Remembered In A Tribute By John Travolta

Earlier today, actor John Travolta, who appeared alongside Olivia Newton-John in the hit movie musical “Grease,” posted a statement as a tribute to the late singer.

“Thank you for making all of our lives so much better, my dearest Olivia,” wrote the actor on his Instagram account. “Your impact on the world was incredible. I love you so much.”
In 1978, Newton-John and Travolta gained fame worldwide when they starred as Sandy and Danny in the film musical “Grease” in which they played the roles of bad boy Danny and sweet Sandy, respectively.

Just a few years ago, a few years after the film’s release, the pair re-enacted their roles in West Palm Beach, Florida when they attended a sing-along of the movie, as well as a question and answer session at the Coral Sky Amphitheatre where they discussed their roles.

Newton-John wore a yellow skirt and matching cardigan with a white button-up shirt. Travolta wore a leather jacket with his hair slicked back.

Announcing their reunion on Instagram at the time, Newton-John wrote that it was the first time the two had been in costume since they first made the movie more than 40 years ago.

Adding to his tribute, Travolta said, “We will all be together again down the road and we will see you down the road.”

It was signed by him: “Yours from the moment I saw you and forever! Your Danny, your John.”
