I am famous and I will be back – trust me,” Wendy said while promoting a new show called ‘The Wendy Experience’.

In a promo for the new series on Instagram, Wendy Williams promised to return to the spotlight with her new podcast, titled “The Wendy Experience.” She wrote in the caption, “Trust me, I will be back!”

A brief clip depicting the show’s hot-pink logo and a video of her saying, “Co-hosts, I’m famous and I’ll be back — trust me.” was used by the former daytime TV host to tease the upcoming release.

She reiterated the message in her caption, which included hashtags such as #wendyexperiencepodcast #welcome #back #stay #positive #cohost #nyc.”

It is notable that she has not been able to appear on her eponymous talk show since last year. The series’ return was initially delayed from September to October, due to a breakthrough diagnosis of C-19.

After the show was scheduled to return, another hiatus was announced, citing “ongoing medical issues” (the host of the show has taken several breaks in the past, citing complications associated with the thyroid immune disorder Graves disease as well addiction in the past).

As a result of several delays, Season 13 of “The Wendy Williams Show” kicked off later that month with a revolving door of fill-in hosts, including actress Leah Remini, comedians Bill Bellamy and Michael Rapaport, and fan-favorite Sherri Shepherd.

TheWrap reported at the time that a source close to Williams had told them, “She is not currently involved with the show in any way,” and that the plan for the next season depends on the state of her health.

Since then, Williams has continued to deny “all allegations about her mental health and well-being,” per her lawyer, after it was revealed that Wells Fargo froze Williams’ bank accounts in February of this year after it was disclosed that Wells Fargo froze her account.

To determine whether Williams should be considered an “incapacitated person” who needed a temporary guardianship, the bank had requested a hearing from the New York Supreme Court in order to obtain a ruling from the court.

The daytime TV spot was announced a week after Shepherd had been announced as Shepherd would be replacing Williams on the show.
