Post-mortem Examination Of The Death Of Teenage Head Guitarist Gord Lewis Has Been Completed By The Coroner
Teenage Head guitarist Gord Lewis was the victim of a homicide that took place in Hamilton’s city center over the weekend, according to Ontario’s chief coroner.
Earlier today the Forensic Pathology Services of the province announced that the post-mortem exam on Hamilton’s third homicide had been completed and that the victim had been identified as a Hamilton-born musician.
In accordance with the ongoing investigation by Hamilton Police, it has not been revealed what caused his death.

A 65-year-old man who was found dead by police Sunday night during a wellness check at an apartment on Catharine Street near Forest Avenue was the victim of a homicide, according to homicide detectives.
Det. Sgt. Sarah Beck said the victim’s injuries were consistent with foul play, but that she could not elaborate on the nature of the alleged assault.
The woman said that the body had been decomposing for “several days” and she estimated that it may have been there for “two to three days.”
Jonathan Lewis, the 41-year-old son of Lewis, has been charged with the 2nd-degree murder of his father.
According to police, the accused was a resident of the apartment suite that was owned by the deceased.
Teenage Head was formed in 1972 by Lewis along with three other students from Westdale High School.
In 1978, they released they’re the first single titled “Picture My Face”.
As a result of the band’s gold-selling album ‘Frantic City’ 1980, a hit single ‘Somethin’ On My Mind’ would be released.
