The First Case, starring Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra, is finally in theaters. Originally directed by Dr. Sailesh Kolanu, the film is a remake of a Telugu movie of the same name.

Rajkummar Rao plays the role of Vikram, who is investigating a kidnapping case involving two girls, including his girlfriend.

The plot of the movie revolves around Vikram’s life. However, he is also struggling with past trauma and stress. Interested in knowing more? You’ll get it soon.

This film works well because of the way it presents a simple thriller story. Despite the fact that the plot is not extraordinary or mind-blowing, the way it has been presented and directed is extremely impressive.

There was a strong emphasis on fun, entertainment, and action from the makers. Throughout the movie, you will be kept intrigued, but you will also laugh a lot.

A number of serious social issues are also addressed in certain scenes. Additionally, none of these elements seem forced or strange in the script.

A shining star in the movie is Rajkummar Rao. As the film was being teased ahead of release, you will realize that there is much more to it than what you saw on screen. Rajkummar’s fans will enjoy the film.

Sometimes he’s intense, sometimes he’s vulnerable, sometimes he’s hilarious, and sometimes he’s too smart.

You will also be impressed by his Rajasthani linguistics. Watching the movie, you’ll recognize Rajkummar’s character as any cop you’ve met or seen before. Nonetheless, the actor needs to work on his teary-eyed scenes a little more.

Sanya Malhotra has been given very little screen time and only plays a supporting role. She doesn’t bring anything new or extraordinary to her fans. Nevertheless, the script demanded that, so it is not her fault. There is a lot of predictability in the script of the film. To a certain extent, you can predict what will happen next in the movie.

Although this may be the case, the film still holds everyone’s attention. Kunal Kemmu’s web series Abhay also looks similar to this film. Both Abhay and Vikram share several similarities. They both work for the police, solving murders and kidnappings. Their pasts haunt them both as well.
