Tata Consultancy Services
Despite annual wage hikes and promotions that took operating profit margins to multi-quarter lows, TCS reported a 5.2% rise in net profit to Rs 9,478 crore for the June quarter.
Power Grid Corporation of India
A state-owned power company has won a project for evacuating electricity from the Neemuch Special Economic Zone in Madhya Pradesh across state lines. The project was awarded to PGCIL through a competitive bid process based on tariffs.
Fortis Healthcare
During the next five years, the healthcare facility provider plans to add approximately 1,500 beds to its existing locations, according to its 2021-22 Annual Report. Over 4,300 beds are currently operational at the healthcare major.
Tata Motors
In an effort to partially offset the impact of rising input costs, the domestic auto giant has increased the prices of its passenger vehicle range with immediate effect. Starting Saturday, a 0.55 percent weighted average price increase across the range will apply.
Avenue Supermarts
As a result of a “very good recovery” in overall sales and a relatively low YoY base, D-Mart reported a seven-fold jump in its consolidated net profit for the quarter ended June 30, 2022, to Rs 642.89 crore.
