Tony Dow, the veteran Hollywood actor who played Wally Cleaver on Leave It to Beaver, has died. He was 77.
Frank Bilotta and Renee James, Dow's reps, told ET the actor died on Tuesday morning.
Tony had a beautiful soul - kind, compassionate, funny, and humble. Being around him was a joy. With his gentle voice and unpretentious manner, you could not help but love him."

Dow had reportedly been diagnosed with cancer back in May 2022, but the cause and circumstances of his death are unknown at this time.
In Leave It to Beaver, Dow appeared alongside Jerry Mathers as Theodore "Beaver" Cleaver, Hugh Beaumont as Ward Cleaver, and Barbara Billingsley as June Cleaver.
For six seasons, CBS and ABC aired the sitcom. Dow reprised his role in a sequel to Leave It to Beaver from 1983 to 1989.
Dow also starred in My Three Sons, The Greatest Show on Earth, Never Too Young, Dr. Kildare, and Mr. Novak
In 1987, the Young Artist Foundation awarded him the Former Child Star Lifetime Achievement Award for his role as Wally on Leave It to Beaver.
