A model and former Major League Baseball player have parted ways after five years of being together after spending the best of times together. Alison Bowles And Adeiny Hechavarría Call Off Engagement

Sports reported Tuesday that the longtime couple, who got engaged after dating for two years, have split. With their respective careers, Bowles and Bowles rarely saw each other, leading to the split.

“We have nothing but love and respect for each other and I wish him the best of luck in his career in the future,” she said in a statement.

The former Mets and Yankees shortstop is currently playing for the Chiba Lotte Marines in Japan.

He and Bowles, who runs WanderInHeels.com, haven't seen each other in nine months due to C-19 restrictions overseas. Last November, they reunited in the Maldives.

I can't wait to see them again after nine months apart! At the time, Bowles wrote on Instagram that she was looking forward to seeing them again.

In addition to participating in Miami Swim Week last month, Bowles recently took part in New York's swim meet. According to her Instagram profile, she will soon be walking in New York Fashion Week.

His MLB debut came in 2012, and he has played for the Blue Jays, Marlins, Rays and Pirates. In 2020, he played for the Braves before signing with the Chiba Lotte Marines.

“I haven't seen him play since the Braves playoffs in 2019, and I think I saw one game in spring training in 2020,” Bowles told The Post at the end of the year.

It's sad, especially because with his career, it won't last forever, and I would like to be part of it, but C-19 does not permit me to do so.
