Despite spending billions of dollars on his VR world, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and billionaire, Bill Gates, has recently been mocked for the quality of his virtual reality graphics.

It has now been revealed that the virtual selfie that the Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg posted was "basic".

In the metaverse, Zuckerberg posted a selfie from Paris earlier this week, which quickly became a meme.

"I'm looking forward to seeing people build immersive worlds, as well as bringing this to more countries in the future."

Despite having hundreds of thousands of likes on Facebook, the post also received criticism on Twitter.

One user tweeted, "Mark Zuckerberg launches Horizon Worlds in France and Spain with an eye-gouging ugly selfie in VR.".

The metaverse graphics for Horizon World's project have improved, which he posted on Instagram with the caption: "Major updates to Horizon and avatar graphics coming soon!".
