The Kraft Heinz Company is announcing a voluntary recall of approximately 5,760 cases of its Capri Sun Wild Cherry Flavored Juice Drink Blend product.

The issue was discovered after Kraft Heinz received "several consumer complaints" about the quality of the products. The cleaning solution was used to treat food processing equipment.

There is no information on how many pouches have been recalled in total. Each case contains four cartons that contain 10 pouches each, for a total of about 230,000 individual pouches.

To find out if your Capri Sun pouch has been recalled, look for a "Best When Used By" date of June 25, 2023. It has been working with retailers "actively" to remove the "potentially impacted product.

The safety of our consumers is paramount at Capri-Sun, and we're committed to a high standard of quality," the spokesperson said, adding that the affected pouches were only sold in the United States.

It is possible for customers who already have the product to return it to the store. People should not drink them, according to Kraft.

About 13,000 pounds of frozen pizza made by Home Run Inn Frozen Foods were recalled earlier this week.

According to the US Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service, the pizza's meat topping is "possibly contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically metal."
