David A. Arnold, a comedian and TV creator, passed away Wednesday. He was 54 years old.
According to Arnold's representative Rob Greenwald, Arnold died "from natural causes" at his home.
'It is with great sadness that we confirm the untimely passing of our husband, father, brother, and friend,' his family said.
David passed away peacefully at home today from natural causes. We are all shocked and devastated by this loss, and would appreciate your prayers and respecting our privacy.
He served as showrunner on Nickelodeon's "That Girl Lay Lay" and producer on Netflix's "Fuller House," the "Full House" reboot.
It was just three shows into Arnold's four-month Pace Ya Self national comedy tour, in which he performed, acted, produced and wrote for TV and film.
In addition to performing stand-up on Netflix, HBO, and BET, he wrote and produced several TV shows, including the 2020 comedy "Bigger" on BET+.
The comedy community mourns the loss of one of the greatest ever, his best friend Chris Spencer said in a statement provided by Greenwald.
There is a large extended family that survives Arnold, including his wife Julie, daughters Anna Grace and Ashlyn Elizabeth, and his mother and sisters.
