It was a positive reaction on social media when Mac Miller's 2011 mixtape project, I Love Life, Thank You, was released to all major streaming platforms at midnight on Friday.
One Twitter post representative of the response read, "Another Mac Miller mixtape released on streaming platforms and I'm crying.".
The 26-year-old Miller died from an accidental drug overdose in 2018. His career began with 2007's But My Mackin' Ain't Easy mixtape, which he released at the age of 15.
To reach one million Twitter followers, Miller released I Love Life, Thank You, a 13-track EP. In October 2011, Miller released the mixtape as a gift for his fans after reaching that goal.
Before the end of the year, he released his proper debut studio album, Blue Slide Park. The posthumous Circles was released in January of 2020, four more studio albums followed during his lifetime.
The most common topic of discussion on Miller's Twitter account on Friday was I Love Life, Thank You.
"Wow, I forgot how great I Love Life, Thank You Mac Miller mix was," commented one enthusiastic poster.
"This is so incredible that I am listening to [I Love Life, Thank You] on Spotify. I am so glad that I am listening to it now. Thank you, MacMiller," a fan wrote on Twitter.
