The K-pop superstars' massive fan base, BTS ARMY, is celebrating its ninth anniversary on July 9, 2022, so Google has launched a pair of collaborations.

Google Search users can unlock a secret Easter egg by searching for "BTS" starting Friday (U.S. time zones). 

he purple heart icon appears next to the BTS header on the upper left of the search results page for BTS (on mobile and desktop).

If you click on the balloons with microphones, you'll hear audio messages from the band members. You can pop the purple balloons with your mouse or tap them with a tap.

According to Variety, Google's lead delight features software engineer Elissa Wolf said, "BTS has such a positive energy. As a BTS fan myself, I was excited to join the team.”

Google Arts & Culture has also created a special collaboration with BTS, BTS x Street Galleries. This collaboration gives fans the chance to see neighborhoods and buildings with special meaning to BTS

RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, V, Jimin and Jung Kook are collaborating with fans to curate Street Galleries at each of the 14 locations.

The #MyBTStory challenge was also exclusively hosted by BTS for YouTube Shorts. Next Wednesday, July 13, BTS will release a special ARMY tribute video on their official YouTube channel.

 culminating the monthlong challenge that invited ARMY and music fans worldwide to share their most memorable BTS moments.

BTS's adoring fans were officially called ARMY - an acronym that stands for "Adorable Representative MC for Youth" - in 2013.

They are currently the third most-subscribed music artist on YouTube (after Justin Bieber and Blackpink) with over 67 million subscribers on their official channel, BangtanTV

The group's music videos have been viewed six billion times. In its first 24 hours, "Butter" was viewed 108.2 million times. "Dynamite" by BTS ranked second in 24-hour views.
