Hard Knocks returns for a new season on TONIGHT, as the sports reality blockbuster returns for another season.
It has been announced that the NFL and HBO have teamed up to create a series that will follow the Detroit Lions training camp this season.
A five-episode season will debut on HBO and be streamed on HBO Max as well. The first episode will air on Tuesday, 9 August, at 10pm ET.
Up until September 6, when the 2022 season begins, the five-part series will air every Tuesday night.
In the early part of this year, Detroit Lions Team President Rod Wood also took to Twitter to comment on the HBO series.
"We are looking forward to showcasing the City of Detroit and the incredible culture we are building at #Lions," Wood said.
The team describes the show as "an all-access look at what it takes to make it in the NFL" in a press release.
We know HBO Sports and NFL Films will be excellent partners in sharing our story with football fans around the world," said Wood.
