As Garcia dropped Fortuna three times on Saturday night in Los Angeles, he showed off a strong performance

As soon as he stepped into the ring with Ryan Garcia, Javier Fortuna promised he would show Garcia he was overrated.

To the delight of the crowd at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, Garcia dominated the fight from the opening seconds before scoring a sixth-round knockout.

In the fight, Fortuna (37-4-1, 26 KO) struggled to gain any offensive traction, as Garcia worked behind a stiff jab and long straight right hands.

Garcia (23-0, 19 KOs) is able to use his long-range attacks to expose Fortuna's ribs steadily as the fight progresses

Fortuna was knocked down for the first time in the fight when Garcia landed a crushing left hook to the body in the fourth round.

As Garcia moved his left hand back to the head in the fifth round, Fortuna's situation didn't improve.

In the fight's second round, Fortuna was knocked flush by a left hook, causing him to hit the deck for the second time.

Three punches later, Garcia delivered another left hook to knock Fortuna to the canvas, his third and final knockdown of the fight.

As a result, Fortuna did not rise at the 0:27 mark of the round and Garcia was awarded the knockout.
