An emotional return to Wakanda for Marvel's Black Panther 2 and war with Namor are revealed in the movie's first trailer

It combines images of Wakandan aquatic environments, futuristic technology and what appears to be a funeral with wakandans dressed in white across a lyrical motif from Kendrick Lamar's "Alright."

Angela Bassett's Ramonda declares, "I am queen of the most powerful nation in the world, and my entire family has been murdered."

There is a question that lingers over the trailer: who will take on the mantle of the Black Panther? The trailer ends with a figure in the hero's suit, but it's not clear who it is.

In honor of the follow-up panel, traditional African singers performed a fanfare at the end of Marvel Studios' massive panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday evening.

“At Comic-Con, Coogler introduced Lupita Nyong'o, Letitia Wright, Danai Gurira, Florence Kasumba and Winston Duke as the stars of Black Panther.

“I'm so grateful to be able to participate in it and share it with you, and it's a labor of love,” Duke said.

As well as Michaela Coel and Dominique Thorne, Alex Nivilani, Mabel Cadena, and Tenoch Huerta, newcomers joined the panel. In the film, Huerta will portray Marvel Comics favorite Namor, the Submariner

“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” is scheduled to be released in theaters across the United States on November 11.
