In the second period, Villa, led by Leon Bailey, were revitalised after making a number of changes, and Man Utd made changes to their own team.
In the 50th minute, Bailey snatched a goal back after repeatedly finding himself in dangerous positions.
Calum Chambers' goal from a corner took Villa until the very last play of the game to put them away.
A deserved draw was earned by Villa in the second half. Man Utd's performance in the first half would have pleased Ten Hag. Leon Bailey of Villa was a scintillating player.
